Have never been to this area before, but what a gem! It's in an up and coming neighborhood on Washington Street downtown. The food was more than expected. And the flavor of the carne asade was so delicious. Hannah, our bartender, handled everyone at the bar as friends. This is definitely a place to try!

I got this recommendation to try Rosalita's from my recent Uber driver! My kids and I have been searching for a good Mexican place and after many disappointments, we are really happy to have come here! We got the Chile Relleno plate and the Coconut Shrimp plate. Both were delicious!!! These were the best chile rellano we've found in STL so far! The coconut shrimps were ginormous! Service could have been more attentive, especially since there weren't many diners, but we will definitely return!

I prefer this Rosalita's over the other one in West County. My only complaint is the food prices are a little much. I will say the food is good though and it's always a good time when you go over to that Rosalita's location. I gave you four out of five stars because there's always room for improvement.

Quesadilla was ok, seemed to be missing flavour. They did provide decent portions for the price you pay. The drinks were strong. Service was ok. If you go on a busy night, be prepared to wait. Not a lot of room to wait around on the inside for a table. I wasn't a fan of the way you have to manuever through crowds when it's time to get to your table.

Just how I like it! We had a team event and decided to come here for lunch. I was worried because we had a party of 7, came during the lunch rush and found out they didn't take reservations. My worries were put to ease when they were able to promptly seat us with no issues. I believe Tai was our server and she was excellent! She was efficient with the timing of our refills, paid attention to details and honored our requests, and was very pleasant! I was also impressed with how quickly our food came out, considering our party size and that we came during the lunch rush. When it comes to Mexican restaurants, I usually have a few go-to dishes. I don't have a favorite dish from Rosalita's just yet, but this one is def. up there. The rice was more flavorful than I could have imagined and I loved the heaping scoop of guacamole. Let me say, you can never have too much guac! As for margs, I went with something different and got the sparkling margarita. I wasn't sure how well sparkling wine and a margarita would pair, but they made it work! It had a good burst of flavor. Overall, the service and food were outstanding and I can't wait to come back.
